One of the biggest stars of Cross-Country world, Team Norway’s Johannes Hösflot Klaebo promises that the upcoming  World Cup season will be even more tougher and exciting than the previous one.

– I think it will be a hard season. Seems like the other guys have trained a lot and are in a good shape, said the last seasons World Cup winner at Ruka Nordic Media mingler.

– I’m going to try my best and hopefully I’ll be able to fight with them, but I think we’ll know more after this weekend.

The Norge won seven of the ten sprints last season. Federico Pellegrino hopes that he he’ll be able to change that ratio this season, but also acknowledges that it’ll be really tough to beat Klaebo.

–I know that he (Klaebo) is the strongest and it was impossible to beat him in classic technique last year but I’ll try my best, said the Italian.

Frenchman Lucas Chanavat says that he’s feeling great before the season opener.

–Last seasons race didn’t end so well for me here but I hope that I can do better this time. I’m in a great shape and we’ll hopefully see the results of my hard training here, said confident Chanavat.
