Alexander Bolshunov continued his great form, winning the Men’s 15 km classic style interval at Ruka’s beautiful .

The Russian won the race by significant margin of 20 seconds over Team Norway’s Emil Iversen.

Iversen was 9th in last years World Cup. The Norge was already looking forward to the next weeks competition at Lillehammer

– This was a good start for the season. I don’t like the tracks at Lillehammer as they’re quite hard but it’s always nice to race at home, laughed Iversen.

Experienced Swede Calle Halfvarsson came third.

Cross country part of Ruka Nordic 2018 is now over. Bolshunov was the King of Ruka as he won both races here.
