The Finnish Ski Association and the world known Swiss cheese company Le Gruyère AOP have signed a multi-year main partner agreement for the Nordic Skiing World Cups in Finland. The cooperation agreement was concluded in cooperation with FIS Marketing AG.

The cooperation agreement between the Ski Association and Le Gruyère AOP will run for three years from the upcoming ski season 2019/2020 to 2022 Olympic Winter. The new contract includes both competitions in Ruka and Lahti.

Le Gruyère AOP is a long-time partner in the FIS Cross Country World Cup, who has been a strong contributor in ceremonies, event catering and on spot activities. This agreement guarantees a broad TV and media presence during the World Cup events in Finland.

The Interprofession du Gruyère was created in 1997 as the association of the three professions making Le Gruyère AOP possible: the milk producers, the cheese makers and the affineurs.
